I'll look in my box of bits, nagging in the back of my head is the thought that I have a set of smaller shoes for a sunbeam.

Would anybody have a pair of front brake shoes for a 1927 Model 9 surplus to requirements please?

Failing that, could anybody provide me with detailed measurements of the correct article?

I have Druid style forks with a 7" diameter brake plate with the long torque arm and the 6" hub...it sounds odd but I believe it is correct according to the pictures in the 1927 parts list.
A previous owner has fitted some more modern brake shoes but they are a very poor fit and braking is certainly below what I would expect...I would expect at least a poor front brake, not abysmal!
