Yes, Graham, that is basically the same bolt as the one in Germany (manufactured in the UK). However, the price including delivery and import charges is 27 Euros while the one in Germany is about 10 Euros. It's always the same: UK-Parcel-Services are generally very expensive and customs doesn't make it better.

I believe BSP and BSPP will be the same in your case. BSP threads come in parallel and tapered form, usually the BSPP is just designated BSP and the tapered ones BSPT. As you have found out the thread dia is not defined in the conventional way but rather the BSP designations refer to the bore diameter. There is a useful table showing the thread sizes on the Marston website https://marston-sunbeam.org/threads-swg-drills/ then select Pipe Threads.

That are great news, Graham! Thanks for that. The first seller is the better option (the bolt of the second has no depression between the two flat pipe supports). They sell 1/8" BSPP while I presumably have BSP. Is there a significant difference at all? They do not give the diameter for the pipe connection. Is that usually defined by the thread diameter (9.73mm according to the lists)? My inner diameter of the pipe connection and its length over the bold are both 11mm.  I've found a German seller at https://www.hel-stahlflex.de/G-1-8-BSP-Edelstahl-Hohlschraube. The cheaper option although with only one support for the pipe connection.

Hi all! Unfortunately the laser weld didn't last. When carefully tightening the very soft fitting it broke again. I now decided to let one made out of stainlees steel by a local machine shop. Because it is a crucial part I have the imagination that members of our club might also be interested. The price for one fitting is 300 Euros and for two 320 Euros. The price is mainly determined by the production of the drawing. Therefore, the price for a single fitting decreases significantly with the numbers so that this part becomes respectively cheaper if more are ordered. I will let two of the fittings made in one week. So, please let me know if somebody is interested in it.

Hi Thomas. From your dimensions the nearest i could figure out is 1/8" BSP.

As previously done for my broken rocker shaft I asked again my local laser welder to try a repair. Luckily, he was successfull and I paid 20 Euro for the coffee cash. The advantage of laser welding is the low temperature input into the surrounded material. Hardened material won't loose its hardness.

Hi all! The fitting of my oil return pipe snapped. Does anybody have an idea what threat and bolt it is? I measure 9 threads on 8.7mm (about 26 TPI) and 9.6mm outer diameter.
