Hi Thomas, I may be completely wrong about this but I would be a bit cautious, because while most stand/footrest/brake pedal etc castings for British bikes are malleable and can be straightened hot or cold, I remember the footrest on a 1937 250cc Sunbeam breaking when it fell over - and being very difficult to (Mig) weld so I suspect Sunbeams of this period may be more troublesome. The bend is spread over a wide area so it may be okay but I think I would want to get it properly hot first just in case.

Hi all! It seems that my rear stand is somewhat bent and its spring already touches the exhaust. I would like to bend it back but do not know the material and if that's possible at all.
