Title: Front and rear brake cable adjuster
Post by: colinbrannigan@aol.com on July 06, 2026, 09:29:41 PM
Hi all,

I have found in the box of bits that came with my 1932 Model 9 a cable which I think is the rear brake cable but I am little confused by the large adjuster which is common to the front brake cable as well. Issue is I only have the adjuster and no other parts ie ridged washer 4913, spring 5073,loose stop 5201, also I don't have a clue what these parts look like, I believe it's a form of locking for the adjuster so if any one can enlighten me or have a photo of the parts, I have looked at many photos from various places but they are of no help. There are a pair of flats on the finger adjuster are these flats on the whole threaded length, mine are are a mess which you can see in the photo.
Thanks everyone for your time, Colin
