Title: Learning to ride a 1928 Sunbeam 9
Post by: davidellwood on February 18, 2016, 07:51:13 PM
My late father was owner of a 1928 sunbeam 9 that is now in family possession.Seeking advice on learning to ride [I don't have motorcycle license at present]I know  the law requires me to undertake CBT course [where I assume motorcycle will be provided if necessary ]and then undertake test within 2 years .I suspect I may have to purchase a modern bike to do this and then progress to the Sunbeam 9 once I am a competent rider .
Advice from members welcome

Hi David,

The best bet would be to contact your local motorcycle riding schools, if you have a local one in your part of the country! They can supply the machines for both parts of the test, and will give you very professional instruction. Then you get straight on the M9, which will be a totally different, but very enjoyable, experience!

Good luck!
