I have found a supply of 1/2" 3/8" and 5/16" thackery washers i wont post on Facebook all sunbeams used these washers and nothing ever fell off drop me a line if you want the details

This is good news indeed. I know the club have been looking for a source of these for some time, have you contacted Vic or Les?

I too found a source, and obtained some samples. Unfortunately they were much too strong for Sunbeam applications. Hopefully the ones you have found will be more suitable, but do get samples if you can.
