In t he Feb 2016 edition of the VMCC magazine a model 5/6 barrel and 77mm piston were advertised for £200. The advertiser received an astonishing level of interest. A total of 24 potential buyers and the first person to call got the purchase!.

I was one of those callers, I phoned and left a message an hour after the mag landed on my doormat, but the seller was away. I tried a few more times, and finally spoke to him 5-6 days later on his return, but he'd just sold it. By then he was up to 27 callers, but with the crazy prices people are paying on eBay, I wouldn't be surprised if half those callers were looking to make a quick buck ?
A late '20s rear rack went for around £350 last summer, and a front brake adjuster went for around £100 !
