Would anybody lend me an exhaust pipe that I can use as a pattern to get one made? Also an original silencer and brackets?

I have a silencer with brackets, Vic, and can bring it to Founders Day if you will be there. I haven't got a pipe unfortunately.

I have a 1927 Longstroke. You are welcome to borrow the pipe. Any use?

Thaks much Mike I have replied to you separately by email...... the part numbers between 1927 and 1928 do differ..... perhaps because the frames differ..... but really well worth a try becasue the look identical.
