Well I have just re-commissioned my dear old Twin-port Model 9 (1931); and covering 250 miles to and from the Les Newman run reminded me that running a big drill up the silencers all those years ago was a pretty stupid idea!
I'd love to travel in more silence; but new ones would be the only new chrome on the whole bike: so maybe I could offer yours a good home?

Great to meet up with you after so many years...... David, you may be able to persuade Armors in Bournmouth to sell you some unplated ones of their excellent silencer. Then paint them a matt black and age them accordingly to match the rest of your well used model 9
