Title: Vmcc Coventry to Brighton
Post by: Davetom on April 11, 2016, 10:12:55 AM
Had the honour of carrying the No.1 plate on this years Cov- Brighton run this weekend. The oldest bike has to carry a scroll greeting message from the Mayor of Coventry to his opposite number in Brighton. My '26 Model 6 ran faultlessly for the 350 mile round trip, and was happy keeping at 45-55mph for mile after mile. The capability of the bike never ceases to amaze me

Fantastic and well done; pity I had forgptten this one and usually join it for lunch as it wends its way via my local roads from Henley through the Guidford area.

I'll try and sort something out Paul. Most of the pics I have are already on this page, although the press in Brighton took some of us all round my bike , presenting the Mayor with the scroll. I haven't seen any of these yet but I'll ask at the Vmcc club meeting
