Title: 20T engine sprocket for a 1937 Lion
Post by: Greybeard on August 08, 2015, 08:48:00 PM
As above. The one on my bike is starting to look and feel more like a circular saw blade, though the clutch gear is as new. Failing finding a good replacement, does anyone know of a reliable company that can weld a steel ring around this one and and re-cut it? It could be a task for winter when the rest of the bike is tucked up safe and warm.

Thanks. Steve

Thanks for that, John. I shall give him a call. Its not worth me puting a new primary chain on with the sprocket as it is.

The sprocket is now on its way to John for fettling  :) The job may as well be done properly now whilst the bike is in bits. Its just the 3 week wait to see out before I can ride it again.

John also does a nice job re-toothing the rear brake drum.

I got home from my hols today to find the sprocket waiting for me  :) He's made a lovely job of it. I think he'll be getting the rear sprocket to do over winter.
