Ian Thompson is planning to get some timing side drive gears made for his model 9. A question though:

My April 1931 parts lists gives part number 4497 and in the June 1932 it changes to 4497A. Then my March 1935 list number 15 gives it as 4497B and it changes again in the May 1936 list number 18 to 4497C.

This question was stimulated by Steve Corbett who confirms that the same part was used in 1929.

Does anyone know the differences?
