My 1928 longstroke has been used for off road trials and has beefier druid forks fitted. These maybe from a saddle tank bike as there is a spacer between the bottom bearing ball race and the forks of about 1-1/4" . This raises the front of the bike up a bit  but  not enough really to make a lot of difference.  i'm in 2 minds , keep it as it is or ask if anybody wants to swap an earlier set (1927 / 28) of druids for these later ones ( i.e.  saddle tank frame with a longer headstock. ) rgds
