Post by: study on December 01, 2015, 04:30:30 PM
I am a new member who has got a 1932 model 9. I was wondering if anyone could help with regard to the type of horn that would of been fitted. Maybe even some pictures

My 1931 Model 10 has this very nice sunburst item which suits the Sunbeam theme:

I'm not sure of the make but it is illustrated in Radco's Motorcyclists' Workshop in an ad from 1936.

Looking at all the relevant catalogues, parts lists and manuals, the only reference I can find is to a "Sunbeam Electric Horn" - not a lot of help I'm afraid! The picture on page 86 in Bob Champ's Illustrated History shows the horn in profile, but probably not clearly enough to identify it.

You could always try Taff the Horn - you can find him on Google. http://taffthehorns.com/
I've just checked and he has one in stock!
