Title: 1927 Model 7 600SV Pillion rear foot rests
Post by: johnguppy on December 09, 2017, 03:39:08 PM
I have just added  a period  pillion  seat  on the rear luggage rack   and now looking for two  rear foot pegs, because of the enclosed  chain case I cant use  a bolt on  foot rest   , I have looked at several pictures  and it seems  the rear  foot rests   screw into the bolts that hold the rear stand  on both sides   , could anyone advice  to what I am looking for  or have a Patten   they would lend me to make some   or perhaps  have a pair they would sell to me

thanks in advance
John

Somewhere I have a pic and possibly dimensions, they are quite rare and the least set I had got sold to australia.

they screw into the stand holes through the stand, with a bit plain for the stand hole to revolve on; hex size was about same as a stand bolt, then turned down for about 5--6 inch ending in a plain mushroom.

That's about as much as I recall.

I have several in fairly poor condition kicking around that will need some careful engineering. Send me an email and I will send some pictures and quote some prices.

My email is in Beaming front cover

cheers

Vic
