Hi Chris,

If you ask Burlen, they can supply a 1933-39 supplement for their spec book, which does cover all the Sunbeam models for those years.

Thanks for the info Steve,
I will buy from Burlen as I have used them in the past. I thought I would try the forum first as the 'make & model' search section of their website does not go back as far as a Model 8. I guess jets & slide should be the same spec for a 76 as a 276. I will give them a call.
Cheers
Chris

According to my Amal reference catalogue for pre war models, the Model 8 (1933-37) should have a 76/001 carb, 15/16th internal bore, a 4/042-140 main jet, a 4/061-106 needle jet, needle position 3, a 6/0524 throttle valve and float chamber 64/079.
I don't know whether this helps or not, but I've found the folk at Burlen pretty helpful.

I am trying to rebuild a 1935 Model 8 from several boxes of bits. The carb' that came with it is a 276 (marked 276/012B or could be D, difficult to read the letter.) It has a 6/3 slide but there is no main jet or needle jet inside. Could anyone advise me what main & needle jet I should use to get me going?
Thanks
ChrisF
