Title: Wheel building
Post by: Jim on July 04, 2012, 05:45:41 PM
Hi, I am just about to start re-building my 1930 model 6 wheels and realise that I didn't measure any offset between the hubs and rims. Can anyone tell me if they both run centrally or is there an offset in either direction?
Cheers,
Jim

At a guess I would think they would have no offset; however I would recommend you make contact with Brickwood Wheel builders down near Salisbury on 01 722 712701. They have experience going back many years and have records of offsets for most bikes.

You need to catch the right person at the right of course; they have a stand at the regular Kempton autojumble.
