Title: rear brake

Hello everyone,
have anyone a photo (maybe some dimensions) from the rear block brake suitable for model 6 -
unfortunately, my rear brake were unsuccessfully welded -> picture

The Sunbeam rear brake for 1923 is shown in the first two pictures.

In 1924 it was improved with a cantilevered arrangement which is much better. We modified the 1923 we have for this arrangement.

The spring fitted to the block assy returns the brake mechanisum the free position when the brake pedal is not applied. There was a hole in the cast part of the frame to accept one end of the spring.

Hi hubii, I recently made a rear brake block for a 1923 Model 1 or 2, very similar to the one in Wessex-man's picture 'rear brake 3'. I can let you have a drawing if it would be helpful.
The rubber material is available from the VMCC shop.

Yes, my is like wessex_man ,,brake 3" and I have also the hole for the spring in my frame... and a drawing would be very helpful for me... my E-Mail: mathias.huber@vkw.at
