Hello, folks. Could I express my thanks to the spares team after a recent purchase. A few weeks ago I took on the custodianship of a 1926 AJS G8 (500ohv) and began smartening it up a little so that I could get a few miles in this summer before starting a restoration over next winter.
I ordered a new saddle and a pair of leather-fronted toolboxes. The AJS toolboxes were half an inch longer than the Sunbeam version but this wasn't a problem at all. Within a couple of days I had the new saddle which is nothing short of being a work of art ;D Similarly, the longer toolboxes arrived just a few days later and were equally impressive. In fact they are so good that I daren't put them on the bike until the rest of it reaches the same standard.
