Shim for end float

Yes, they have. Two disadvantages: 1) They only ship to company addresses and 2) 40 $US for shipping to Europe. But we love our machines...  ;D

Thank you, Andy! This afternoon I have already ordered imperial ring shims here: https://www.mcmaster.com/shims They have an online shop which makes the issue easy.

The shim issue is more difficult than expected. I can't find imperial shims with 1" ID and 10 thou thickness. If somebody has one I would be eager to buy it.

Another possibilty is to look at the model engineering suppliers in the UK. They have small quantities for sale.

I used this place a few years ago: https://www.thebearingcompany.co.uk/ - you might need to email or call them as I can only find metric sizes on their web site today.

I need a shim for adjusting the end float of my crankshaft. 1 inch inner diameter, 0,026 inch thickness. What is a potential source?
