I have a similar problem. There are no valves for my 1937 Model 9. Those in the club shop are too short. I now wonder where to get apppropriate valves and which guides I need. Can I use the guides from the shop (matching diameters?) and possibly shorten them? Or do I need other guides? My guides have a cone on the upper side, those from the shop don't. I think it's a bad idea to use old valves with worn stems in new guides. Where do I get new valves and guides from?

Yes Klaudius, the valve guides would have to be slightly shortened, or modified with an internal taper.

That would be great. I'll check it out more often. Is there no suitable alternative? What else? Am I correct in my assumption that the valve guides have to be kept a little shorter in order to install the tulip valves? I'm at the head of my 9A 1932. Greetings Claudius.
