Hi Andy
You don't need a lot, just enough so that it touches the bottom of the chain. I measured it previously and was around 50-75ml on my 1930 model 9
One other point it has been recommended by those that know (Chris Odling) to use automatic transmission fluid rather than engine oil. Apparently it's much better and helps to avoid clutch slip.

Happy weekend everyone!

I have stripped down and rebuilt the clutch plates, ensuring that the kickstart mechanism now functions.

When I drained the oil, pre-cover off, only a dribble came out.

Anyone help me with the level to which I need to top it up again?
