Title: Clutch adjustment on sliding pinion gearbox

In a recent edition of 'Beaming (which I can't locate) there was a short article about how to stop the horrible crunch when engaging bottom gear from a standstill on a sliding opinion gearbox. Can someone please remind me of the process?
