Title: crankshaft M9 1932
Post by: klaudius on July 26, 2020, 07:40:05 PM
Hello
My Roxbox of a M9A 1932 has already been cleaned and assembled. I chose new valves with springs and new NOS pistons. What I would like to do again is the connecting rod bearing crankshaft and connecting rod eye. Are there still rather worthwhile companies in England that can overtake such a thing professionally? In Germany, many companies claim it, but hardly anyone does it right. Can someone recommend me?
Many thanks.
Sorry for my bad english.
Klaudius

I would suggest Alpha Bearings. info@alpha-bearings.com or +44 (0) 1384-255151. They do have standard big-end bearings for Sunbeams - see http://www.alpha-bearings.com/Big%20end%20Catalogue/Sunbeam.htm

Alpha did my M90 flywheels. the bigend was loose in the flywheels and conrod, they made an oversize assembly for them. they also made new mainshafts for it..not a cheap job but it is perfect..John
