Title: Gear Change Lever Screw.
Post by: shorrog on May 19, 2020, 11:46:21 AM
Hi folks, the spares team are currently looking at getting the screw that holds the hand gear lever to the bike manufactured. However on measuring a couple of screws from model 9s we have ended up with different dimensions.
If you have such a bike is their any chance you could take a photo and measure the screw.
The one on my bike 1930 model 9 is as per the  pdf but we think the length is wrong and also the slot may be too small.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Graham

Hi graham..I make the spare one I have 9/16" long..The other dimensions appear the same. On my 9A I cleared the thread right through and you can fit a much longer screw if necessary, i made that one and it is 1 1/16" from the shoulder to the end of the thread..
