Title: Spark Plugs
Post by: Andy Cubin on December 03, 2015, 03:39:03 PM
The Model 8 continues to be stripped naked and rectified stage by stage.

Today I removed the spark plug and found the number of threads on the plug was far less than the number of threads in the head.  I can only surmise that the wrong plug is fitted and I need a long reach plug.

Who uses which plug please?

Cheers

Andy

Green Spark Plug Company KLG ML50 is the Lodge CB3 equivalent. 3/4 reach 18mm. Works well.
Personally prefer the CB3's but it's a case of finding them.

(He hasn't had any CB3's for years).

The KLG ML50 works in my engine also. It's an alternative to the old spark plugs but if I can get an correct old type than the old type comes also in my head.
