Title: Wanted - Lower Fork Links for 1932 Lion
Post by: AndyB on January 10, 2017, 12:37:55 PM
Hi All.
I need a pair of standard (4.25inch centres) lower fork links for my 1932 7a Lion. The ones that came with the bike are worn and are 4.75inch and marked 'Sidecar Use Only'. I don't mind a pair with oval holes as I will have to bore them to match oversize spindles.
Many thanks
AndyB

Would it be just as easy to bore the forks and fit thin wall bushes? .then in the future only the bushes would need changing.John

Thanks for the replies John,
A local VMCC member / engineer has been working on my forks, and has agreed to make links for me if I can't get originals. I think the spindles are already made. The whole bike seems to have been run into the ground and virtually everything has needed re-engineering!
