Title: Model 9 Gear box Lubricant
Post by: Upperstoker on May 16, 2017, 07:26:27 PM
What would be recommended as a suitable lubricant for a 1935 model 9 gear box?

I have used Spheerol semi fluid grease on my Model 10. I believe it was originally designed for Land Rover swivels as it becomes liquid when stirred about as in a gearbox but becomes a semi-solid when static.

It does seem to work well although I confess no 200-mile journeys undertaken!
