Title: Model 95L Piston
Post by: MarkO on March 09, 2017, 04:58:29 PM
Hello all

Can anyone help with a piston for a Model 95L? I need a +20 thou (80.5mm OD) 7.5 to 1 CR if poss.

If all else fails I can lay my hands on a +40 6.5 to 1 (thanks Chris Odling) but ideally, I would like to go with the above.

I know the aussie JP cast items are available but from what Chris says and from what I have read online, they are not great.

Please help me get my bike back on the road where it belongs! Then I can ride it to events and get to meet you all. :)

Best regards

Hi Vic

Thanks  for that. Yes, I  found his site yesterday and I emailed him. It is looking promising. I just need to work out what CR my piston delivers and from there it should be possible to calculate what the new pistons will deliver. I think that 7 to 1 would probably be ideal.. He has two types of model 9/90 pistons in stock.
