Hello everyone hope some one can help with my search for information about pop up oil regulators my bike is a 1936 model 9 I bought without a regulator, can anyone confirm if a 1932 item will fit a 1936 ,at the moment I have the chrome ring with 2 fixing screws and a nylon blanking plug in centre.Going off at a tangent has anyone successfully fitted an external oil filter to sunbeam.
Looking forward to your posts.blacky.

Hi Blacky,

The 1932-36 models still used the oil-pump mounted tell-tale. The pop-up fuel-tank mounted device was introduced with the 1936 models. You could try the Model Interest Group to see if there is one floating about.
