Title: Longstroke cylinder removal question
Post by: Ken the Sec on September 25, 2019, 06:38:30 PM
A question on behalf of a new member with a 1926 Longstroke who does not do internet things.
Bearing in mind the fixed cylinder head, is it possible to remove the barrel without having to move the crankcase, or does the top frame get in the way?  And any tips on removal and replacement of the barrel will be gratefully received.  He wants to know before starting work so he can move the macine to a better equipped workshop if the whole engine needs to be shifted or taken out.
Thanks.
