What a great day at this years Bamburgh Run, with 6 Sunbeams out of 36 bikes and the earliest bike being Jon Hill's 1910 Douglas Model C, which Jon navigated through the 60 mile short route with no difficulty at all and only a spot of l.p.a. from time to time. Etal village hall in Northumberland was the perfect new venue this year for start , finish and lunch with Ellingham village hall a superb stop where the villagers joined us for tea, a chat and a look at the bikes. Andrew Joicey waved the bikes off in pairs at the start under the Northumberland flag and riders set off to Bamburgh and beyond. Both this years long and short routes provided some spectacular views and with good weather the routes were a big hit with the riders. Hope to see you in 2018.
