With those open cabs they must have been about as cold as a motorcycle for the driver. My grandfather was a bus driver for the Ortona Company in Cambridge in. The 1920s / 30s and prior to that rode a Sunbeam combination delivering something (we know not what) to someone (we know not who).  I have somewhere a photo of him on the Beam - which I cannot find. When it turns up I'll send it to Steve for the mag.

Although we are mainly interested in motor cycles and sometimes ones without engines..... have a look at http://www.old-bus-photos.co.uk/?tag=sunbeam-sikh  for a bus supplied to a London operator.  How about the comments then. Sunbeam was in fact better known at that time for Trolley buses.

Cheers
