Prefix 3 speed gearbox

Clearly the three-speed gearboxes need sorting out with some detailed analysis. Perhaps someone with more detailed knowledge (and time) than me can sort it out!

Yes this helps. 
The gearbox now is complete.

I have seen that the wide for fitting the gearbox on the frame is 2 inch.
My other gearbox housings of 1927 and 1929 have a wide of 2 1/4 inch.

Some differents of the gearbox bearing covers also.
The 1922/23 version has small ears for bolts of the clutch mechnism. The 1927 version are stronger at this area.

From 1928 the gearbox bearing covers are wider.
I'm now searching still a gearbox bearing cover of the 1927 narrow gearbox to complete and fitting the gearbox on my TT90.

It's difficult to be exact, but from the Register entries, we can say it is likely to be from 1922/23.
