must say I had a great day at the Banbury run catching up with the Sunbeam folks..
I had a good day too, though it was rather warm ! Rode round with #251 Andrew Leslie ( I was #249 ) . Got a snap of #244 Mark Prizeman as he rode past the pub , whilst we had a welcome cold drink.
Had a conversation after with a couple of friends and we wondered why they don't make it a 2 day event..? Obviously a lot of hard work for those involved, but as the Vmcc is desperately trying to raise funds and gain new recruits, expanding their largest and most popular event seemed like a good idea ? A lot of people travel a long way ( quite a few overseas) for 3 hours riding. Any thoughts ?
Yes I personally would like that, but the auto jumble would need to be worth it.
I have no idea how much they charge the jumblers but there appeared to be a lot less stalls there than last year
